Conflux is building foundations for a future where medical records rich in high-dimensional clinical data enable preventative medicine and ensure individual patients receive the best diagnosis regardless of where they seek care.
The potential impact of high-dimensional clinical data remains largely unrealized due to: fragmentation, siloing, inconsistent formatting, and poor quality control. These limitations contribute to practitioner burden, missed diagnoses, and unnecessary interventions, while also impeding the development of tomorrow’s life-saving AI algorithms and treatments.
Our AI-powered platform tackles these challenges head-on, starting with lab medicine and pathology practices. With a deep understanding of healthcare's unique complexities, we build AI tools that empower practitioners today while unlocking the future of data-driven medicine.
Chief Executive Officer
Perry believes that high-dimensional clinical data will revolutionize medicine and co-founded Conflux to help make this a reality. Prior to Conflux, he was a member of the founding team at insitro where his responsibilities included data strategy, corporate development, and all aspects of partnering. Perry graduated from Princeton with an AB in physics and spent five years as a currency and interest rates derivatives trader before going back to earn his PhD in Bioinformatics and Integrative Genomics from Harvard.
Chief Technology Officer
Chris oversees the development of our pathology lab software and ML platform. Previously, Chris led the Clinical Machine Learning team at insitro, a drug discovery company focused on identifying novel drug targets from high-dimensional data. Chris holds a PhD in computational genomics from Stanford.
VP of Engineering
Alden works across the stack, merging his academic background in biostatistics and machine learning with industry experience leading software development. He previously cofounded DataFox, a business intelligence platform, acquired by Oracle. He holds a BS and MS from Stanford.
Founding Engineer
Salik is an engineer working on design, frontend, backend and machine learning. In the past, Salik has built software at companies such as Relativity Space and Dropbox as well as co-founding a successful data visualization startup. He holds a BS and MS in Computer Science from Stanford.
Pathology Advisor
Ben Dulken is a board certified pathologist pursuing subspecialty training in gastrointestinal and liver pathology at Stanford University with research interests in the tumor microenvironment, metabolic dysfunction associated liver disease and digital pathology.
